Emma James

As a child, Emma was a endlessly creative with a passion for making things by hand, which led her to pursue a BFA from Parsons School of Design. She had a successful career in fashion design and trend forecasting in New York City before co-founding Antiquaria in Austin, Texas, in 2010.

Emma’s love for color, pattern, and timeless design shines through in her work, inspired by the beauty of the American Southwest. Her creations blend warmth and nostalgia, reflecting a distinct, artful vision that celebrates the joy of craftsmanship.
