Sewing Class, No.1 | Reversible Placemat (In person, 11/8/2026)

Sewing is the BEST and we are so happy that you are interested in getting started. This is our class No.1, where we show you everything you need to get going on your sewing journey!! Get comfortable with your sewing machine in this in-person class which is perfect for complete beginners. We will teach you the basics of using your sewing machine while creating your own handmade placemat project.

You’ll learn how to thread your machine, sew a straight line, backstitch, and become more comfortable with the basic functions of your sewing machine so you can go home and continue to create! No prior sewing experience is needed—this class is designed for those who have little to no experience using a sewing machine.

Bring your own sewing machine, and we’ll provide everything else! All fabric and materials needed to complete your placemat will be provided, and you'll leave with a finished project and the confidence to continue practicing your new sewing skills at home.
